Bless him.....

Yes it is far too hot for us humans.... it's out early for the walk... then Ginnie and Cobi are kept cool with a dip followed by a dowsing throughout the day, Ginnie thinks this is a new game and keeps coming back for more water to be gently poured over her neck and back.......
Cobi would rather be covered in mud as can be seen from photographs I've posted in the past :1967

What a beautiful picture :love4

Too hot for pasty, fair skinned humans as well :2005: our goldies are sheltering in the house, the black labs are outside basking :1963.

My first goldie Ben hated getting wet - would put the brakes on to avoid a puddle, wouldn't go in the sea and would stand at the backdoor cross-legged if it was raining!! Such a character :love2

Lovely picture. Looks very settled.

This weather is too much for me as well as the dogs. Although Tessa is handling it better than either me or Duke. He has never stopped panting for two days. Sounds like a steam train and to be honest is driving me round the bend. Bless him :love5 It is supposed to rain on Thusrday :2026:

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but can goldies get sun burnt?

I know cats can get burnt on there ears, anyone know?

What a gorgeous picture. Jazz and Daisy never lay down together even though they were half sisters. Maybe that was the trouble. Sometimes siblings don't get on so well!
