Alex

Post by CarolynM »

As some of you may remember Ian and I adopted Alex in February.

We had to make the heartbreaking but kindest decision to have her pts yesterday to save her any further suffering.

We may have only had her 5 months but she had a big place in our hearts. It was so rewarding watching her develop her confidence. She had kindly been fostered by another family before she came to us. Alex was a gently, quiet old lady.

I can't look at her photo's at the moment but the posting about her is further down this list.

Sweet dreams little girl

Thinking of you both, run free now Alex, whether it is 5 months or 5 years they get into your heart, and she was with you at the end, and loved, and that is all that matters...

We are so sorry to hear about your loss of Alex. There isn't anything anyone can say to help, except we all know what you must be feeling at this moment, it doesn't make any difference if they are with you for one month or many, many years, you just love them so much.

Carolyn, Ian and family,

We are so sorry and sad for your loss of Alex. No matter how many times we have to go through this, the heartbreak never get's any easier.

You must take some comfort in knowng that in those last few months, she was loved by her family in a happy home.

Thinking of you all........

Thinking of you Ian & Carolyn. No words will make the pain easier but you gave her a lovely loved 5 months and were with her at the end. We can do no more but let them go with love.

Having the oldies is a blessing but also so very hard to bear.

Love to you,

Jan

Very sorry to hear such sad news for you...please remember Alex had a loving life with you most dogs can only dream of...it was far too short, but you gave her love and care until the end...

We are all thinking of you here, and like other members have said, it breaks your heart to let them go...

So sorry to hear of your loss. It never gets any easier, but I always think it is the last kind thing you do for your dogs.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Alex. The older dogs are so appreciative of a good home and a bit of TLC. Our heart felt commiserations.
