What a beautiful weekend, and what gorgeous sunsets We went up to the Lakes on sunday but oh was it busy. Managed to find somewhere for Ella to be off the lead and have a run. On the way there we called at a pub where you can take dogs in a large bar area. They are made very welcome, and all get biscuits and water It's called The Watermill Inn, about 3 miles out of Windermere, on the A591 at a place called Ings Village. On the way back we stopped at Kirby Lonsdale for a 'brew' and a
nother walk on the river bank.
Thank you all for your kind comments. If you'd seen her today.........been
playing in the field with my young grandson and his friends having a whale of time rolling in sheep 'muck' not them, just her, thank
goodness. What is it they love about the stuff?
Love the photos of Ella, especially the fourth one down, sitting there as much to say 'get on with it then I'm not sitting here all day'
The weather has been lovely -7c here, a bit colder further north I think, got some lovely photos with the frosty trees etc., still got 4 little tinkers until the weekend, Cobi and Megan continally bashing each other, Ginnie and Lottie rolling and eating frozen horse pooh, as Lynn says a touch of eau de Channel 5 for them ugh!
You have 2 extra goldies staying with you I believe! What are mealtimes like. Is there a pecking order? or is it bowls lined up, and see who can get it down the fastest. Ella's pretty quick but then she has no competition
Yes we have 4 little girls until Saturday,(16 nights) never liked the thought of them going into kennels, so our friends can go away and not worry about their goldens, the youngster Megan is 2 and Lottie is almost 14, a few years ago when we also had our own 3, one of their's was a couple of months off 17 and god help any of the others who tried to 'mug' Maddie for her food! No problem at meal times they all sit and stay until the last bowl has been put down and then it's like pigs at the trough, Megan had to learn to wait when she came first to stay but after 2 days she soon got the message. The sleeping arrangements are interesting though, they all like to change baskets throughout the night, and I have to drop the back seat of my estate car down, so they are all comfy. If I can I'll try to put a photo of all of them of the website.

To do pictures - open photobucket account by registeringat www.photobucket.com
Upload the pictures you want and select the one you want to display in your posting.
With the picture on screen - as you can see below in a screenshot of the photobucket page, select the text from within the IMG Code- Forums & Bulletin Boards box at bottom right of screen (as labelled in picture below) and paste the text into your posting where you want the picture to appear.
So - this is how the posting above looked as I was typing it and after I had pasted in the code from the picture on photobucket.
Hope this helps - if not let me know and i'll do a more step by step guide including uploading to photobucket and putting the pics into your postings
Must be honest it took me ages to learn how to put photos on and I learned by trial and error in the end...find it very hard to follow instructions re pc's...
On this topic does anyone know how to edit video's (easily)??
If we'd been brought up with computers instead of nibs and inkwells we'd be in with a chance!
The easiest and cheapest way for a beginner is probably windows movie maker - but it only opens certain types of movie so try and see how you get on..
use the import into collections option to get your movies into the program then drag them to the bottom row - you have the option to cut bits out, add transitions and effects, titles etc - the help that comes with the program isnt too bad -
have a play and shout if you get stuck
its usually already installed on your computer - cant remember exactly where it is as i change all my menues around but try start menu, all programs, accessories and entertainment - you shoul find it somewhere on the way through those menus
