They tell me it's good luck

Post by bentley »

Well, Bentley must be the luckiest dog in the world.

It's all my fault. "Let's walk over the big field, the cows haven't been on for weeks it'll be ok." :2019:

Famous last words. :2029:

Bentley ran off for a romp and next thing I noticed his shoulder drop and he was having a good old roll in something.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :2026: :2026:

The cows might not be on the field but what they left behind was certainly there. That's not mud he's covered in. :2005:

Doggie whiffaway shampoo needed in copious amounts!

That amount of poo should bring us lots and lots of luck.

oh dear what a mucky pup you are bentley.
it did remind me of when george was a pup and we took her in an empty cow field. she was bounding about and found a cow pat... she didn't roll in it though.....as a walking dustbin(labrador) she ate it.... steve had to put his fingers in her mouth to stop her swallowing it.... me i nearly cried with laughter. luckily she had no ill effects but steve had to wash his hands loads of times. why are dogs so disgusting.
A word of advice to you all there is a shampoo called FOX POO and it's by a company called animology. it actually works on all poo and it does work.

You can also use Tomato Ketchup on fox do dah. Probably the acidic content that neutralises the odour. Use like a shampoo and rinse off.
Not to be used on chips after the event :1945:

Oh Milo's Mum, yuk. That's truly disgusting. I'll never complain about him rolling in it again.

Thanks to you and Lynn for your advice about how to remove the whiff. I'd heard about the tomato sauce trick before, from you I think, Lynn. I'm already a big fan of Animology products. I buy their 'Dirty Dog' leave in shampoo for emergencies and their 'Stink Bomb' whiff away on an almost daily basis.

If I buy it from TK Maxx it's cheaper than getting on from Pets at Home.

There is nothing like a lightly crusted cow pat. Aroma is sealed in and can be released with a Golden's head.
