Miss Ruby

Post by Margo »

Not sure if I am doing this correctly, new member.

Miss Ruby, is a beautiful 10 year old. Was my sisters dog. Tragically my sister passed away Aug 2010. No question about it, Miss Ruby, was coming to stay with my hubby and I. She knew us well, and we have never regretted taking her into our home. She has returned our love ten fold and we are sure it was less stressful for her. We both missed my sister so much, but found solace in each other.

We have lots of fun, going long walks and visits to the beach.

Will try and post some pictures of us, when I learn to master the system.

Regards Margo

It's lovely that Ruby was able to come and live with you after your sister passed away..... we had my sister's golden retriever live her last few years with us.... thankfully not through a tragic loss like yours...but due to domestic circumstances of moving into rented accomodation with her daugher and not being able to take Jasmine...... and then there were 3 lovely goldens, with Abigail and Ginnie( who was rescued by Jan)

Hello Margo!

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister, a loss like that is devastating. Thankfully, you and Ruby had each other to get through it.

It sounds like you really enjoy each other's company and have a lovely time together. I can't wait to see some pictures of her. It took me a while to master the system, I'm still a newish user, but once you've got it it's easy enough.

Hello Margot!
Very sorry to hear of the sad loss of your sister, and it is good to know that you have found a large measure of comfort with Miss Ruby. You and your hubby must have big hearts to take on someone else's dog, and similarly, she showed the trait which most Goldens have, and that is sympathy and understanding in stressful times.
I do hope you have many, many years of happy companionship together. Please let us see some pictures. You will find that this is a very supportive site.
Best wishes - Samsmum 9Joyce). :hello2:

It will be great to see some photos - don't worry it's not so difficult if I can master it - I'm not the most technical person in the world(understatement).
You'll have lots of fun with Ruby and I'm looking forward to seeing her,

Best wishes :1945:
