Please excuse me if I have already mentioned this.Monty is in love with the painters doing the outside of the house. Was going out of the back door(they were at the front of house)with Ellie and Monty when he just vanished. He had wriggled his way out of half opened window and was running around like a fool showing off to the painters in the front garden.Lovely stripe of paint down his side and very hairy windowframe
Go faster stripe!Considering how scared he was of men when we got him(used to wet himself)He loves EVERYBODY now
love Diane,Ellie and Monty

Hello Diane - Just loved your story about Monty.
We had trouble with Sam when we got him - he hated men, and growled at them and wouldn't let them in the house, but now he is so funny - he still growls but with a mouthful of toys which he gathers up as soon as a man comes in, and a whole waggly rear!
I had such a laugh to-day. I went out into the drive with him to throw his "Queak" (an rugby ball-shaped rubber thing which had a Squeaker in when we bought it. The squeaker came out, so it became the Queak!!)
amd I threw it up for him to catch, but my aim was not very good and it landed on the roof of the utility room.
Well he ran round and round, looking up, watching for it coming down, and then whipping round quickly to see if he had missed it. David was out and I couldn't reach the roof, so I had to bring him in minus his Queak. I laughed till tears ran down my face. He could not understand where it had gone.
Fortunately not long after, David arrived home and retrieved the Queak so now, all is well!!
Best wishes - Samsmum (Joyce).

Re: Monty
It's lovely to hear that young Monty is now so different to when Diane first got him. A credit to your love and devotion Diane. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all dogs got the love and attention they so truly deserve.
