Bluebells...

Post by Ellas mum »

Over the Easter weekend, we spent a lovely day at Astley Hall, an area that was new to us. I say new, but it IS where we first met our golden girl. It's a lovely area with some nice walks. We were really supprised at how many bluebells were in bloom....

Lovely pics Jean.
Hope you don't get any new neighbours, they will be wondering how the retired couple next door have managed it, all the soft toys on the line. :1945:
As always, don't the bluebells look stunning, such a lovely time of year. I walked round the village at lunch time, if anyone saw me they'd think I was dotty ! I have to stop and sniff all the different blossoms that are out. Just love the spring scents, bluebells, lilac, hyacinth, daphne, choisya, wall flowers, mmm lovely.

Great photos Jean all so different, but all sum up a golden retriever, and you so right Lynn I do love the smell of spring , the sausages on the barbecue and the smell of real ale through the open window of a pub.

Ooh Lenny, burgers and beer, now that's something else!!!!In my case, it usually meens tummy and headache.

Talking of BBQS, we've just bought a Cadac, can highly recommend, a fantastic piece of kit. Lots of people using them when we were on Caravan Rally, had a look on the internet for info, then bought one.
