A year on...

Post by Eastonwolfs »

Its a year this week since we adopted Amber...who had been abandoned, but was thought to have been used on a puppy farm for breeding...and once she'd served her purpose was dumped...

She has come so far in the last year...and overcome a number of difficulites...she has learnt so much...changed so much...we feel so very lucky to have her...she adores my husband...and her latest trick (this week) is when he goes to the downstairs loo she has learnt how to open the untility door to follow him!!

Jan...thank you from us and mostly a big THANK YOU from Amber...who has celebrated this milestone with a four mile walk and roast beef dinner!

A wonderful picture and lovely story, nice to hear how much her life has changed for the better :D . I still find it hard to believe that anyone could ill treat such a beautiful dog, let alone abandon her. :( Thank goodness for Jan and the rescue to take them in and introduce them to their new loving owners. here's to your next year with Amber and the fun you will have together.

Best wishes

What a beautiful picture of Amber. She looks so serene. Not a bit like the Golden you took into your heart 12 months ago. Although it is hard to believe it is a year since. You have done a wonderful job and the photo is a credit to your T.L.C.

Thank you

Amber is beautiful - not wanting to wish 2008 go by too quickly, I can see Amber on next years 2009 calendar, just lovely. I don't mind getting older, but not our dogs.

Susan,
A lovely photo of your girl. You must feel so proud of her. A year on, you must be looking back on your time with her and the difference you've made to her life. Well done.
