Ginnie then in 2000 and now 10 years later.

It was 10 years ago today that we collected Ginnie from Jan, 'an early Christmas present' for Abigail, Abby had lost her pal Ceili three months previously and had made it clear that she wanted another pal. So after being introduced to Jan by some caravanning friends who had given a couple of Jan's goldens a good home with them.....off we went to collect 'Ginnie', a timid, very thin, obviously uncared for prior to Jan receiving her, she had been dirty and her coat was all matted when she arrived at Jan's and had to be cut away. She couldn't even climb up our stairs for a couple of weeks, hardly any muscles in her back legs, and terrified of the dark..... so with all the love in the world, you can see how we changed Ginnie. It hasn't always been easy... Ginnie is very determined to do things 'her' way... but even at 12 or maybe 13yrs she is still a strong powerful girl.

Lovely photoraphs Linda. Ginnie was very pretty when she was younger, but I absolutely love her now, such a big teddy bear girl who you could just 'eat' with cuddles. Love to you all. :love4
