LUCY

Post by janrobinson »

Me and Duke have a new little girl here now. Didn't last long did I??

Lucy is eleven years old and a little sweetheart. She doesn't look her age at all and is so good off the lead. She does have to have an op on Monday as she has some sort of lump maybe mammary to be removed, Don't want to wait til she is older then have to have it done. So Monday will be a worry day. Will keep you posted.

It is lovely news, I hope she gives you the same joy as Phoebe and Poppy have for us. You deserve it.

I know it might not be the same sort of thing but when Poppy was younger she developed a large lump on her neck where her collar went.

When she was spayed we also had this lump investigated as well and it turned out to be collagen. It has not reappeared so we hope it is all gone after so long a time. Just thought I would mention it as I hadnt heard of this before.

But back to your good news, it is smashing. :1942:

So pleased for you Jan. May you and Lucy have many happy years together, and with Duke.
Best of luck for Monday. Will be thinking about you and, of course, Lucy. It is always a worrying time.
Best wishes - Samsmum (Joyce).

Many thanks for all your good wishes. However This lump has gone, more or less, with the antibiotics so may have just been an infection. Anyway I have cancelled the op for the time being and will monitor the situation. If it starts again I will have to do something about it but will wait and see. She is so sweet . She wasn't sure about Duke at the beginning because he puffs a lot and sounds like a steam train but she is O K now. They are not best buddies yet but are amicable enough. Can't expect miracles.

That's good news Jan. Let's hope it doesn't return, that the antibiotics have worked their magic. Sure you must be feeling relieved.

So pleased for you Duke and Lucy.
good news about the lump [Candy has had a few]
It took Jazz a little while to accept Candy, but you are well experienced in introducing new goldens into a pack.
You can't beat the golden oldies.

Hi Jan, that's great news and even better that she doesn't have to go through the op, fingers crossed for no recurrence x. Ruby and Harry are now best buds, they snuggle together, follow each other around. Great to see, as he really looked for Honey and missed her when she passed. Hopefully Duke and Lucy will soon be buds too.

:love5 from another who didn't last long. x

So pleased that all is going well.
It makes your heart sing with these lovely stories. Some more lucky Goldens finding forever homes. I always look forward to hearing that Jan's managed another re-homing, I stop fretting for a while, as Jan knows only too well.
Bless you all.
