Some photo's to share with you from our week in Scotland.
We stayed in a lovely farmhouse in Fife. It was situated on land owned by the Woodland Trust, but was open to the public. There were dozens of woodland trails, beautiful flowers and tree's, and teeming with wildlife.

Re: Holiday Photo's
Beautiful photographs Jean of Ella, and your cottage and the surroundings look lovely.
Is the little boy a 'friend' of Ellas?
Ginnie and Cobi are more 'child friendly' than any of our goldens that we raised from pups, they adore my 8 year old niece and always want to greet children, we have to be a bit careful with Cobi as she has a tendency to want to 'wash and clean' kids, she is over the top with her love for everyone (even the vet) never had a dog so affectionate.
Ella must be 'related ' to Ginnie, who has never liked getting into a car, and now it's 'paws' (onto the bumper) and a hand under tum and one under her bum and UP, and a full lift coming out of the car.

Re: Holiday Photo's
Lynda, the little boy is Jake, our grandson who came with us along with his Mum and Dad. He loves Ella, and she adores him. He gets quite worried when she starts to shiver and shake as we try to get her into the car, once we're on our way, she's fine. He would love a dog of his own, but it's not possible as his mum and dad both work

Lovely photos - thank you so much for sharing them with us. The cottage looks nice and homely, and the gardens and woodland are beautiful - but the star is Ella - she has such a lovely kind face and a beautiful coat. She is a credit to you.

Jean... send me Jake's or your address via private message system and I'll make him a couple of notecards of this photograph of him and Ella.
Poor Ella, Ginnie has never liked getting in either of our cars, she is not so bad in mine as the bumper isn't very deep, paws on the bumper, hand under the bum and one under the tum and lift.
