Molly's Afternoon Story in Pictures

I was a bit depressed today. I didn't want to get out of bed. So I stayed there. On the sofa. With Mum's sleeping bag. from the spare room.

Image

Then Mum decided we should go to the park to cheer me up.

So we did.

Image

I thought I looked pretty smart actually.

Image

But Mum kept on taking more and more pictures. And I got bored of it. So I told her to leave me alone. In my own words.

Image

Mum knew I was getting bored of pictures so she called Alfie to come and rescue me. But he only wanted to have HIS picture taken so he wasn't very helpful at all. AND he has no control over his long tongue either.

Image

So anyway.....we ran and ran and ran and played for ages and ages and ages. Then I sent Alfie home and I came home too. Then I fell asleep with Froggie and reflected on a very successful afternoon at the park.

The End

Everyone thinks she's grown up since last year. Has she changed that much?

Lovely photographs with Molly's words..... clever dog. Molly has the colouring of Ginnie and the expression of Cobi on a couple of the photos. :1945:

Lovely, loved the one peeping out of the sleeping bag.
What lovely expressive faces these Goldens have. They
could melt the frostiest of hearts.

Glad you all like the pictures.

Can I just add a little factual info for anyone who spends time in Scarborough:

1. The cliff lift / tramway thingy in Scarborough now has a return fare. They used to have only one ways for 70p each so we used to walk down and take the lift back up when we were all exhausted from running on the beach. Molly was terribly excited all the way down because she knew where we were going and got a little exuberant at times. Now with the return fare we don't mind taking her in the lift both ways, which saves a whole heap of anxiety and gets us down there in a flash.

2. The pedestrian footbridge that runs from the Grand Hotel across Valley Road up to the South Cliff is now open again after months of closure for renovation and refurbishment.

Just lovely pictures of Molly. She has changed such a lot since you took her to your hearts. She looks a very happy confident young lady now..

I can see how her friend has no control over his very long tongue. I bet he can make a mess of a bowl of water. !!!! :2029:
