Fishy Question

Post by julie »

We've upped Honey's fish intake but now I wonder if it is too much. She gets fed twice a day - breakfast and supper about 6pm - and about 5 meals a week she has fish on biscuits either sardines in tom sauce, salmon or pilchards or the like. As a non-fish eater myself, am I giving her too much? Her weight isn't changing.

She also has a treat recommendation to share with her pals - M&S do dried pork strips - she only gets these as a special treat as they are like pork scratchings, they're stinky and a bit greasy. But she sure does love them! :1941:

I love this smiley

I don't think it is too much fish as there are some foods that are fishy for dogs. As long as she is well and happy that's all that matters really.

I also love these bigger smilies:bighug:

We have started giving Ella and Brad fish on a Sunday morning, they just love it.
Which canned fish is best? The ones in sunflower oil or somthing different, or does it not really matter? Is this good for their joints?
