Just back off an impromptu break, and so pleased to read Bronson is doing well. When Barneys cruciate went we had to have a TPLO proceedure (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) which was basically a new metal joint being attached to the knee. If youve had the same, I can only say the results were incredible. He was completely lame as the cruciate had snapped (unable to place foot on floor or straighten leg) and post op he had a brand new leg! I mention only as Im not sure if there are various levels of cruciate repair, and if anyone is faced with a TPLO option, I certainly can recommend it.

Good news J.M.& B.
So far , so good. He sounds to be making excellant progress. Now the physio' begins. Very slow walks to encourage him to put weight on the leg, too fast and he may well favour the leg. Long slow strengthening process, but worth the end result.
Take care....Lynn :1964

Been on holiday to canada just got back today. After all the worrying about Bronson we did not need to as my parents came to stay with bronson and he has been spoilt as my mum and dad said all bronson needs to do is talk as he has been really good.
We go back to the vets in 2 weeks he is going on his 5 min lead walk as soon as he arrives at the post box he automatically looks and turns round to go back he is going to go mad when he gets off the lead we should put a warning out on the field where he plays with all his freinds saying Bronson is back beware.
