Cleaning Sam's Teeth.

Post by Samsmum »

Hello there!
This is Samsmum to tell you about cleaning his teeth.
On Wednesday we took him to the Vet's for his booster jab, and M.O.T. Colin said he was absolutely fine except he has a bit of plaque on his two upper cannines. I purchased a tube of canine toothpaste - "Poultry flavour" would you believe, and when we arrived home I got his toothbrush and put some toothpaste on and started to clean his teeth. Normally he will stand still for ages whilst I do things like trimming his eyelashes (they tend to grow long and inwards) and he never bothers.
Well on this occasion, when I started to brush he flew! I followed him to our bedroom and there he was, lying down behind the bed looking as though he had been there all day.
I left the bedroom and shouted him, and he came to me, looked at the toothbrush in my hand and ran back into the bedroom.
I stayed in the hall and called him again. He ran out of the bedroom, threw himself down at my feet, and rolled on his back with his legs in the air. I cleaned his teeth there and then!
Was this meant to mean "I surrender"?
