2009 fun day

Post by lenny »

Hi everyone, would just like to say how much I am looking foward to this years fun day, couldn't make last years as we were on holiday, so booked to go away a little later this year.Hope to see a lot of dogs and owners, having a good time togeather.I was thinking the other day what people would think if they were going down the road towards the venue and saw all these cars going past with nothing but retreiver's in, it would make them wonder at first ,till the penny dropped, :2019: what was going on. Hope the sun shines and lots of money is raised for the rescue.

Hi Lenny,

We're sure you'll enjoy the day. WE DID. It takes you aback a little to see all those dogs together. When you know they are all rescue dogs, you do get a lump in your throat to say the least. But, they are ours, and that is wonderful. Just to know that they have all been rehomed by Jan, and how happy they are with thier new families brings a warm feeling. A day of tears and joy in our case. All the mums and dads are really lovely people, you'll enjoy meeting up with them also, and it is like meeting old friends after chatting to each other on here.

See you there. :1969
