Fitting epitaph

Post by superjazz »

Here is Lord Byron's epitaph to his dog "Boatswain".

Near this spot
Are deposited the Remains of one who possessed Beauty without vanity
Strength without insolence
Courage without ferocity , and all the vitues of man without his vices.

This was written about his dog who was a Newfoundland.
Equally true of Goldens.

Very true, it's a pity mankind can't learn from it.

Yep, It's called "Willows tummy alarm clock". :2090: Don't know if it's wide eyed and legless, or bog eyed. :2029:

Mind, even the cat at this house let's you know it's getting up time.
