Honey
Honey recently had her 3rd home day and we've been revisiting photos taken over the years.
Honey came home on 13th January 2006, Friday 13th! She had been picked up by the dog warden in Blackpool, we say that's why she loves the seaside so much.
Here's her first picture.
She was a bit dirty and very smelly.
3 baths later that afternoon ... the smell had gone but showed just how thin she was.
Snuggled in her bed; she's not got quite so much room now!
Our first outing in the snow ... such fun chasing snowballs.
Early Summer 2006, her coat is already much thicker, shinier and softer after just a few months. She was helping with the gardening til the bone called to her!
Our first summer holiday. This pic is one of my favourites.
Honey's version of 'kissing' Monkey...
Her first Christmas ... she liked her presents better than her accessories!
Defrosting the lawn earlier this year ... she's got a few more patches to go yet!
Her third HomeDay complete with Birthday Brioche. Luckily she had help on hand to blow out the candles... 4 times!
Saturday we had a lovely walk in Fairy Glen, she didn't find any fairies though. This was the only time I could get her to sit and pose... she was too busy exploring!
And finally, Honey trying to be fierce, the golden way... she's not quite got the hang of it yet!
She's been an absolute treasure over the years, whilst she may not have looked perfect at the beginning, she was in nature (and now has the looks too! )

Re: Honey
Thank you so much for the lovely pictures. I can only say thank you for giving her a wonderful life now.
Re: Honey
Lovely photographs of Honey, I've 'borrowed' a few, love the one of her with her head on one side in the sea. The one in the snow, I can see a likeness of both Ginnie and Cobi's face.
We don't know when Ginnie's birthday was, so we call it the day we collected her from Jan, but really, any dog that has been 'recued' it is their birthday everyday now they have someone who has given them their 'forever home'.
