Smilers!

Re: Smilers!
It`s nice to see new faces at the end of the week, I like Brambles black nose, I think their colouring is just perfect, send loads of pictures of these two please, and what do you call the dog with no name?We met the two on the right in Surrey about 4 years ago (Chalk and Cheese?) down there we saw far more darker coated Goldens than in the north. The photograph is on film so the quality is not up to digital but it does shoe the after effects of a Retriever rumble!
Re: Smilers!
Hi, The darker Goldie is Holly! She was a rescue and I love them both dearly but Holly is so special to me.
You're so lucky with 3. Do they get on well together?
I'd love another one and trying (but failing miserably) to find a very dark golden.
Anyhow - some more pics of my babies...........
My beautiful Holly
The two of them playing peek-a-boo
The beach is the favourite place

Re: Smilers!
These are lovely pictures! Even though Holly is a darker colour, she reminds me of Ella in this picture.
Re: Smilers!
I think I`v led you up the garden path (It`s a thing men do for ladies, we can`t help it it`s our job!). We only have two retrievers, none shown on the (nearer to 6 years old) photograph showing Katie, on the left, who died 5 years ago, and two dark coated strangers she had fun with in Surrey.
Here is a photograph taken this morning of Simon and Benjie having a wash and brush up in Dowber Gill after coming down Great Whernside, past Hag Dyke and Provident Pot, It`s a long way to go but it`s worth it because there is no charge here for muddy Goldens.

Sorry - my mistake
That looks a fantastic place, my two would absolutely love that - would make a change from the filty dirty bogs they seem to be able to find!
They go to hydrotherapy swimming to help Holly's condition - but secretly I love them going because they come out lovely and clean without the struggle of trying to bath them!
Bramble wasn't sure as a pup but loves it now;

Lovely photographs of happy goldens, I love that one of puppy Bramble in his 'life vest' and the ones in the sand dunes. It was cool and breezy here this morning at 7.30am when we went out, but my two had a swim and came out clean and fluffy, mainly because Ginnie had a filthy face.
Re: Smilers!
They're all so beautiful, great photos.
Honey also had a thing about lying by the stairs, she doesn't venture up much anymore.
If the steps fits, lie on it (think it was a snug fit!)

I love seeing other pics and the similarities but at times I do wonder - could there really be others out there as nutty as mine!
