Ex Sniffer dog Sandy

Post by 65Mile »

Image

This is Sandy, an ex Police sniffer dog now living in Skipton with Paul & Linda. He`s very friendly with people but highly protective of Linda if other dogs are around (It` propably because Linda has no head). and like all Goldens he has developed the knack of getting spoilt rotten.

What a stunning dog Sandy is.

Ben that we used to have was very protective of me (until Ian moved in and then I was forgotten about) - unlike Linda, I do have a head but its full of cottom wool and hot air :2024:

Isn't he handsome. I think I have this picture in my album. Lovely to see him on here.

Very noble...what a love, and he has such long legs...shame about Lindas head, I thought that was very funny.

A lovely boy. Very proud and handsome. It's nice to know that working dogs have a life beyond the force.

I think it is the angle of the camera that gives that impression.

SNIFFER DOG SANDY - UPDATE.
Simon & Benjie met Sandy last night (31/01/08) greeting each other like old friends (Frantic tail wagging). Linda said Sandy is feeling secure now and is so much more relaxed when meeting other dogs, he had spend part of Saturday walking around Bolton Abbey and the Strid and in the River Wharf (Which has an excellent reputation for encouraging Golden water frolics). He is a really handsome long legged smoothy, now with noticeably longer hair and tail feathers than shown on the photograph. Keep it quiet in case her husband Paul dosen`t know, but I think Sandy is in love with Linda, and dare I say it, the feeling is reciprecated. It all goes on in Skipton.
