Well, I would do to him what he did to that poor little dog and more besides. Where is Coloraine is it in this Country.

I have signed the petition but really don't think they will do anything. Did you know that when someone is banned for a year, two years or life from keeping a pet. It is never followed up and even if they have a pet in their house they can say it belongs to the wife or daughter and thats that. This is never policed properly.

Something to think about. So if you know someone has been banned then keep watching thembecause that is the only way to get it sorted.

Have signed...Sorry, but had to delete part of the comment

This was one of those things that you could vividly picture in your minds eye. Not a pretty sight

Can't believe he did that to an animal; can't believe the punishment nor Jan's post about future ownership. What a twisted world we live in. I think my initial comment was the same as the other members.

Particularly poignant to us as we adopted a 6 month kitten about 6 yrs ago who had been abused. Sadly they were never caught. Harry had his whiskers singed off and so many kicks that left him terrified of feet if anyone walked past. Thankfully he healed quicky on the physical side but he would attack for months if scared. He eventually started to trust us and learned he would never experience that in our home. Today he is happy, healthy and my little (for a big tomcat) shadow but 6 yrs on my blood boils at the monster who put him through that.

Sorry folks I can't read it, won't even open it, when I see or read about such cruelty I can't get it out of my head, it gives me sleepless nights.

Right now, I can't find the words to describe how I feel about this.

I know when I first read this I felt sick to my stomach I think it is in Sourthern Ireland, (someone correct me if I am wrong) but the horrendous cruelty over there is awful..no punishment is too good for him...

Sorry I can't open something that involves cruelty

Sorry I can't open something that involves cruelty, I know it goes on as we see it on the television most days, it's a a horrible world we live when 'humans' have to be cruel to animals and children and indeed to other human beings, so much for being a nation of animal lovers....quite often our television is turned off through the middle of the news... and when the media use the term 'animal' when they actaully mean a 'crazy or barbaric human' I could slap some sense into their stupid mouths.

I don't watch anything that is hospital or vet related whether is be animal or human. We probably don't get our moneys worth out of the licence fee thinking about what rubbish is on the TV.

Far entertaining watching Cobi and Ginnie bashing each other.

I know this is distressing but sad to say it goes on, all you can do is sign the petition and hope it helps another dog. I am not normally a violent person but if anyone went to hurt either of my two they would regret it... :x

Hi Folks

What a terrible story. Like most of you I cannot believe the depths that some people stoop to. However, it makes you realise what a wonderful contribution Jan makes when she carefully matches the Retrievers to their new homes.

Let's go and give our girls and boys extra special love and attention in memory of poor Mac.
