Holly has been with us now for 4 months and she is well and truly at home. We have put some photo's on of her latest swim, how she now feels she has earned the right to sit on the furniture and how she looked the day we first met. Our son let her out this morning not realising the side gate had been left open, she had been out about half an hour before he realised there had been no sight of her for a while. In a panick he went looking for her to find her laid on the front lawn watching the world go by and playing with her toys. It's a dogs life !! [/img]
super pictures of a very happy lady. Loved all the pictures but the first picture was the best for me with the one of her on your knee next. Her expression is just super. A real credit to your love and care. Thank you
This is becoming a habit ! we have had a fabulous easter with Holly, we had a family party for our eldest son who is leaving to join the RAF, we had a house full of people and Holly was friendly without being over fussy, and very well behaved, she has been out in the snow, helped to garden and been for long walks and generally been a great companion and friend over the holiday. We are very lucky to have her and so very grateful to Jan for bringing us together. We are planning a holiday in the caravan in the next few weeks which I am sure she will enjoy immensley and we will happily share the pictures with you. I will add the snow photo's tomorrow for you all to see.
Lovely photographs of Holly, it must be a 'golden thing' Cobi clambers up onto my Husband's lap, usually tapping him on the shoulder if he ignores her. Holly will enjoy the caravan, when we had Ginnie over 7 years ago we took her up to the caravan in storage for her to have a look around, Cobi settled in the caravanning mode apart from the first night, it was light before 4a.m. and we the roof lights open so as soon as it was light she pounced on us, no problems since, they both sleep on the bed in between us!!! even though they have vet beds!!
Hi Jan, she was busy eating snow, I think she sneezed when I caught her. Holly certainly enjoy's the snow, wind, rain, sun, hail, gale and anything else that comes, she just enjoy's being outside and fresh air.
Hello again, Holly has been to the seaside and she absolutley loved it. She dashed straight into the sea for a swim, she was a little bit unnerved by the noise of the sea crashing in but soon went back for more. She also likes chips and ice cream (small portions Jan, honest) and travelled in the car much better than when she first came home with us. We are taking her to Whitby for the bank holiday weekend so we will get some nice piccies to put on the site.
