Hello I just found this forum, My dog Ropy, went into heat for the 1st time last week (March 14th)

Just wondering how long retrievers tend to stay in heat for..? I've read on dog sites it tends to last 3-4 weeks? but I thought I would probably find a more accurate breed based answer here.
