Sam's weekend in the caravan.

Hello there!
We took the caravan to North Wales for the weekend, and, of course, Sam was on his usual good form. He watched the hens drinking from his dish, he lay at the edge of the porch awning, with no lead on, and watched passersby and other dogs and never moved. He was receiving praise from all quarters - Wish our dog was like that. Isn't he a good dog. Pity more dogs aren't as well behaved as yours! And so it went on. If Sam could have blushed, he would have been the colour of a Red Setter!!! He just lies there and grins at everybody, but a different matter when within smelling distance of the sea - he suddenly becomes fired up and away he goes into the water faster than the speed of light!!
And he does enjoy his swim, and retrieving pebbles (which he never finds anyway), and best of all, shaking all over us!!!
The weather was sunny and warm in the daytime, but at night it came down so heavily, I thought we should be investing in a Noah's Ark.
Nevertheless we had a very relaxing and good weekend, so cannot grumble.
Hope you are all enjoying the last dregs of Summer. We are hoping for one more time in the caravan in two weeks - and then snuggle up for Winter!!
Best wishes to all - Samsmum (Joyce)
