Ella has had us in stitches the last couple of time we have taken her out, for some strange reason she has been rolling over and over on a crisp packet :2029: Each time we have take her she has found the same packet (infact she looks for it) and rolls on her back legs going ten to the dozen, then picks it up and runs with it for a bit then lets it go.

Has anyone any idea why she does this?? And have you experienced any funny antics from your goldies, they say animals do the funniest things :1968

Emily has done the same thing with a crisp packet, but also on several other things ,like her ball, mud and horse muck, not sure the reason ,but always does it the first time I let her of the lead and throw her ball, and several times after that. When she did it in the horse muck I asumed it was mud till the smell hit me. :2006:

Thank your lucky stars it wasn't Fox Poo :2007:
That was one of the treats that Timber absolutely loved. Brought tears to your eyes in the car on the journey home. You just haven't smelled anything until you've sampled that.
But, we wouldn't be without them, despite all their smelly antics.

Charlie does it with his toys and when he drags his blanket out of his bed. It really does make you chuckle! :1964

Fortunately he's never taken to rolling in manure or fox poo! He used to eat cow manure and it'd make him sick so i told him off last time he did it and he hasn't done it again. I couldn't take anymore manure caused diarrhoea and sickness. :2005:

FOX POO.... where do I begin.... Cobi dear lovable Cobi .....never had a dog quite like Cobi for sniffing out the vilest of smelly things to roll in... she's brought me dead rabbits and bits of, left it when told to and before the lead was around her neck dived headfirst on top of it.....and wriggled.
Fox poo she can smell at 100 paces, and rotten fish on the beach, ... BUT WE LOVE HER TO BITS ONCE SHE'S CLEAN AGAIN. After she'd had a swim and she was lovely and clean and fluffy she then treated us to the full works Saturday afternoon, back, neck, ears..... windows down sunroof open, 8 miles from home. When the back door is shut to the kitchen and she is on the wrong side, the grooming spray comes out and the disposable gloves go on, the look you get is ' I hate you, I really hate you'.

Ginnie like to dap her ears in deer or horse muck, or eat as much as she can before you get up to her!!!! Now give your 'Dad' a Kiss !!!! Ughh. :love2

9.30pm every night Cobi goes to either hers or Ginnie's bed in the lounge and kicks out the vet bed, and then the inner part goes across the room, and she 'diggles' round and round and then flumps down into it as much to say 'that's better'. Strange dog.

Luckily no fox poo as yet :2007: she is a funny little girl, she also likes to make her bed before she lays on it, a little bit of scratching and circling before she lays down on it. I have to say she is the first dog we have had that uses her bed, she looks so sweet curled up on it.

We once took Troy and Luke to the beach and Luke decided to eat horse poo, then proceded to throw it up in the back of the car :2004: NOT nice, two dogs that needed bathing when we got home.
