A Letter from Willow

Post by Mr Grumpy »

Hello Aunties and Uncles, I am writing to let you know what’s been going on at our house.
Over the last 2 years of being with my Mum and Dad, if I have been cheeky, they’ve told me “You’ll go back to Auntie Jan’s”. Well, it happened, Auntie Jan rang mum on Sunday evening, and I don’t know what was said, but on Tuesday morning they put me in the car and took me on the long journey back to the kennels---and I thought they were only joking! Anyway, the nice lady came out to see us, went back inside, then came back with handsome boy. Mum and Dad took us both for a walk, we ignored one another, but he did seem nice. We went back up the hill, mum went inside with Auntie Jan to chat and write on papers. Then they had the cheek to put him in MY CAR. Off we went home, Mum and Dad seemed to be very happy. Back at home, we chased each other around the garden, but Mum kept having to say “AH-AH stop it” to him. She says he’s a naughty boy, but that the Vet’ will sort him out,

So everyone, this is my New Big Brother---Woody.

Absolutely fabulous!!!! So pleased you "took the plunge" to give another lucky doggy a great home. You certainly can say "what a difference a day makes". Lynn you don't fancy coming round to our house to sort our Gordon out do you? Hope Willow enjoys her new brother, and you both enjoy your new little boy. Love Carole xx :1954: :love4

Just looking at your pictures again. Did the plastic pinny do any good Lynn?
Off swimming with Gordon now, it's strange how wet you can get when you don't go in water. Carole xx

Hi Lynn and David,

What great news. Woody is such a handsome lad :love4 and now so lucky to have you and the beautiful Willow as his family. The difference before and after is amazing - I've always been nervous to trim Honey (except her paws).

Looks like they're already BFF.

Julie

ps how do you keep the lawn looking so green - we have "Honey patches" on ours?

We are so pleased to hear about Woody.. just got back from the Malverns, the other half is probably getting soaked as he hasn't come back yet from taking the caravan back into storage.. couldn't wait to log on as I had spoken to Jan yesterday morning and she asked if I'd seen the website lately (no internet for me whilst away) such wonderful news and what a lovely distraction, and such lovely photographs.

best wishes to you all from Lynda, Les, Gin & Co.
