Retriever Rescue

Hi Folks

With the sad news on the site i thought i might cheer us all up yesterday my son and his
girlfriend decided they would go in the freelander with japser and their mountain bikes to temple newsome (a stateley home inbetween Leeds and York). They had a great day as they took the wrong turnning near the stateley home and ended up on the york road when the brakes started to smell so they pulled in and had to call the recovery truck out and when the
driver came he said the dog will have to stay in your vehicle which was no problem. But could
you imagine following a recovery truck with a landrover freelanderon the back with a goldie pulling faces looking out of the back window. Jasper enjoyed the ride and got home about six pm and his mum had booked a walk with her friends at 7pm. His face was a picture when he realised he was going for a walk if he could have talked we are sure he would have said you must be jokeing i have just had the must funny experince of my short life never been so high up in a vehicle before i need a sleep now i am off to bed

Brilliant. Talk about going up in the world. Bet other road users had a laugh at him sat up there.
