Very true, we've just taken Megan out with our two so we've had three lots of 'peace', lovely, until they all wanted the same stick !!!

I would just add another thought, 'you can be in a room full of people, but still feel alone'

I know which we prefer, unless it's a room full of rescue goldens with their owners. Nuff said.

Thought I would put another post on as when I read this first time round it really made me think back. 10 years ago we had lost our last 2 bitches. On a lovely afternoon I took myself off for a walk onto the hill above the village. When I got to the trig' point up on the top, I sat and surveyed my patch, tears rolling down my face. The last time I had been there was with our beloved Holly and Lucy, a dog under each arm. My how I hurt that day. We had said the usual thing, no more after these 2. I set off walking back, only to go in by the back door to Davids work place. One look at the state I was in, and "that's it, you've got to have another, ring ---- and see if there is a puppy somewhere." That weekend we chose our dear boy Timber, and off we went again Life just isn't the same when there isn't a Golden to share it with.
