Retriever Rescue

Hello, I'm new to the site. I am looking to rehome a nice golden retriever. I have four children the youngest being four months old. I have experience with dogs having owned american cocker spaniels and retriever cross breeds. I am missing having a dog..I am at home during the day with the baby while the older ones are at school. I am active and fit, and would like the companionship of a dog/bitch during the day and on walks, school runs etc. I know I have young baby, but does this prevent me from rehoming? any thoughts?
