Wow what a difference to that lovely lady. She was haunted before. Now just happiness in her eyes.

I remember when you first posted her picture on here, so sad, a haunted look in her eyes.

It's not there now, she looks wonderful, hope she's keeping well.

Just shows what proper love and care can do, she looks like she's been reborn as a 'proper dog'...if you know what I mean?

Just imagine, if we think she looks so good now, how Amber feels in herself?

She looks so happy now...

:D :D

Its wonderful to see what a good home can do for a neglected Retriever.
We have seen a big difference in Candy who has now been with us for about 9 months.

Well Done C & I
What a difference you have made to her. It is wonderful to see the change. Thank goodness there are people out there that just put heart and soul into making these beautiful dogs whole again.

Just shows what love can do

She is a little treasure but it hasn't been easy at times. Even now if she is stressed she has to destroy something. All cuddly toys are de-stuffed, eyes, arms and/or legs are pulled off until they meet madams approval and then she is happy with them.

She is terrified if anybody runs past her and becomes frantic if food is about (she was a stray). She is very reluctant to go out in the rain which is probably a throw-back to being a stray.

But she is the most loving dog imaginable, she adores Ian and still waits for him to come home every day. Its heartbreaking to think that she was so easily abandoned.
