I would like to let you know about our rescue Golden, Jessica. She came to us to fill the hole left by Jenna 20 months ago. She and Lily, our other Golden, got on like a house on fire from the moment she walked through the door. It was like a match made in heaven. Jessica has fitted into our lifestyle so well. She loves the outdoor life with our horses and going into the horsebox for a drive. Here she is on holiday in the Lakes last year (she's the little one) More photos to follow

Beautiful photographs of Jessica and Lily
Can't say anymore that has already been said by everyone above, except the photographs are lovely together with the stories......except I'm starting to 'collect' some super photos for Jan's N.W.G.R.R. 2010 calendar. I hope that no one who has posted photos on this site objects to me using them, if anyone has a disc with 'special photos of their dogs from Jan' that haven't been posted, send me a private message and I will gladly make a calendar with just their dogs on.
Jessica
Thankyou for all your lovely comments. Jessica has made quite an impact on the locals. She has several fan clubs in the area from the training club she goes to, to the local park where we usually walk in the mornings. The old ladies like her because of her size. She is on the small side but what she lacks in size she makes up for in personality. One of her favorite tricks is to charge up to people, sit on their feet and look up at them with her dark eyes. This usually does the job, she gets the cuddle she wants then gets up and goes on to the next person she can find! If you happen to be sitting down on a park bench, she will think nothing of jumping up by your side, sitting down with you and, again, demanding a cuddle. In fact, she has been known to sit on your knee like a lap dog! Lily, in the meantime, is doing her own thing. She has earned the nickname Princess Lily for being somewhat aloof and VERY well behaved (that's what they think).
