Oh dear that was very emotional to see this little girl so happy and relaxed enjoying her life. What a wonderful job you have done for her.

Re: Film of Fern on our morning walk
Thankyou for those kind words Jan, yes Fern has had a mountain to climb and we don't think she will ever reach the top. Still got hang ups and can be afraid at times.
How we hurt those first weeks, wouldn't come near us and we had to feed her in the conservatory with the doors closed so we didn't disturb her. Left all the doors open so she could bolt outside when she was feeling threatened.
Poor little girl she didn't know that she had come to a home that just let her be herself, that we didn't ask anything of her. Over time she has become such a sweet and gentle girl, not a bad bone in her. Never heard a grumble which says a lot, considering what sort of life she had been subject to.
How some low life could inflict so much hurt on her is just unbelievable.
Fern beginning to go to people that want to say hello to her, and with folks she knows is going to them.
A slow job but reaping rewards at last.
Wouldn't be without her for a second, just having her here means so much.
What I will also add to this, if anyone reading this as a guest...PLEASE however much you would like a dog..DO NOT GO TO A PUPPY FARM. This is what happens to dogs like Fern.
God bless Jan and Jess for making Ferns life better.
