Taxi

Apologies if you heard this but it creased me;
A man hails a taxi and get's in telling the driver where he wants to go,
as the journey goes on he has a question to ask the driver, he leans forward and taps him on the shoulder,
The driver scream's, swerves across the road narrowly missing a bus, mounts the kerb and stops inches from a plate glass window:
For several seconds there was total silence;
The passenger apologises to the driver saying he never intended to startle him and is sorry for the distress he has caused.
The driver say's
It's not your fault, today is my first day driving a taxi, for the last 25 years
I have driven
a hearse !
