Goodbye Todd

Todd left us yesterday, two weeks after his 14th birthday.

I've posted some piccies of good times on the gallery forum. I hope we gave him a happy life, lots of walks along the Formby coastline and caravan holidays around the UK.

God bless you pups, and thank you for 14 happy years of love and friendship.

Thank you for all your kind words and sympathy.

We now have Todd home, in his casket , it's another sad day for us.

Ollie our first retriever is in a plant pot in the garden with a magnolia plant. We'll do the same with Todd.

We keep imaging we can hear him. It seems to have affected us more this time, maybe because the kids are older and do their own thing so often it was just the two of us with him. We plan to look for a new member of our family after Christmas, the kids want a puppy but I'm wondering about a rescue dog.

Whatever we do he or she won't replace Todd, but they'll be loved just as much.
