Retriever Rescue

Well....after admiring from afar the fantastic films from the David Wise/Grumpy studios...and...with a bit of technical help from Ian...have managed to put this short film together...

Love watching the movie clips. Very clever Amber, I wish my two could do that.

30 years ago Mum's taught her first golden retriever to open doors, Gemma also learnt to close them behind her, one day Mum was talking to Dad in the lounge and remarked how cold it was, then they heard the usual 'bump' of Gemma closing the back door, and a fews minutes later Gemma came into the room dragging Mum's coat and looked at Mum as much to say 'stop moaning and put that on!'

Another of Gem's party tricks was for someone to read the newspaper, and then for someone to casually remark that they would like to read the paper, Gem would go and grab the paper in the middle from whoever was reading it and take to the person who had asked for it, and some people call dogs dumb animals.

Brill enjoyed that...the girls are so clever my Lucy also opens doors, she does all the hard work and Paddy stands behind her and then just follows her through... just like a man!!
