I'm not sure that calling her Aunty Twitchy is technically correct. As she is my son's dog, so does that makes her and Bentley cousins?
Anyway, she came for a sleepover for the first time since Bentley arrived. I must confess, I'd been worried about it. What on earth for? Apart from having two of them looking at me imploringly every time I tried to eat something, it was a piece of cake!! ( No pun intended but it made me giggle)
Here they are enjoying each others company and running me ragged. Tell me again why I'm not a size 10?
Hi Lesley!
Beautiful pictures of two beautiful dogs, and with cake in your hand, who could resist them! Never mind the size 10 - be happy and enjoy the dogs.
Best wishes - Joyce.
oooohh a black lab and a golden retriever reminds me of home. unfortunately just black and no golden for us now but george still holding her own. i do like to see 2 dogs together. always have company and takes the pressure off us to play all the time then doesn't it. bentley does look like he was being a good boy with auntie twitchy and i bet they looked like so adoringly at you with that cake. me and george like cake also (plain ones)
and i'll never be a size 10 either. my philosophy- there's no point going for a nice walk in the countryside and getting lots of fresh air working up an appetite if you can't enjoy a piece of cake and a cup of tea ( yes george does like a bowl of tea as well- i don't get to have anything to myself in my house. just as well i'm not keen on chocolate)
