Hello Steve!
That is a lovely picture of a lovely boy. You must miss him so much, and it is good that we have happy memories to hold on to. The tree in his memory is a lovely idea, and a constant reminder of your old friend and companion.
Thank you for sharing the picture.
Best wishes - Joyce.

hello steve, wasn't he a beauty. sunning himself on your bench. like you i have photo's of milo but his are on a wooden box with his ashes inside, and instead of a rose we let him look after any nik-naks that we need keeping safe and tell him to look after them for us. it's a shame they have to leave us but we are left with our memories and i think it is a lovely idea to plant a rose in his memory. thanks for sharing your tribute to jb.

JB was a lovely boy, and a beautiful rose to remember him by. They take part of your heart away when then go, and we miss them all so much, we find looking at lots of photographs really helps. We still have four wooden caskets on top of a long display cabinet and each one has a large framed photograph of each dog in front of it. Seven years Monday just gone when we had to say goodbye to Abigail, just cannot believe where the time has gone, almost 6 months since Ginnie died. Still miss them all, so Cobi gets extra love.....
We didn't go 'digital' until 2003 (me) hubby 6 months later in 2004 and one of the very first photographs he took of Ginnie is still one of the best. We often say that we had to go digital as the wardrobes would have caved in from the weight of all the boxes of photographs on top, and that it would be so much cheaper not having to have the films developed......then he had to buy me a computer, printer, scanner etc, etc.

What a nice tribute to jb. Ho looked so comfy on that bench enjoying the sun. Happy memories. We planted a rose when my little cat, marmalade passed away - an orange rose, obviously.

They always hold a special place in your heart, don't they?

Hi Steve,
What a lovely photo of your lovely dog. I've still got loads of photos all around the house of my first dog Sally and my friend bought me a rose, Sally's Rose , which is planted in a special place in the garden.

When we got Sophie, just over a year ago, my mum and dad bought me Sophie's Rose which is also in a special place in the garden. You never forget your special friends and I'm sure that JB will always hold a special place in your heart. Thanks for sharing,

Ros
(Sophie's mum)
