Retriever Rescue

Last week we decided it was time for another Golden to enrich our lives. So on Thursday we went to see Jan and came back with Katie. Katie is 9 Years young and does not look it as you can see.She is full of energy and at the moment still taking things in . Shore walk in the morning and woods in the afternoon. She shakes with excitement when out. She never leaves the water on the shore, Jazz must have communicated with her because she put up a fish this morning, did'nt catch it but it was a suprise.

Dear pat & syd, sorry to miss your great news, have been away for a week, and only got back last night, so starting to catch up with all the new posts, Katie looks such a cutie, im sure shes already mending your broken hearts, and she could even be a bit of a fisher girl, Jans gone that extra mile again.I do hope she has a long and happy life with you both.

That is good news Pat and Syd, especially for Katie who now has a lovely new home, and beautiful photographs of her.

I believe that our 'past dogs' never really leave us, and it sounds like Jazz is showing Katie the way. look forward to more photographs.

i am really pleased you have found it in your hearts to have another golden and isn't she a beauty?!?!
i swear she's smiling surrounded by all those toys. the thing with oldies they act so young but as the second pic shows, they have such a serene look on their face when they are relaxed. i think she's absolutely stunning and i wish you both and katie lots of love and happiness together.
