He was a gorgeous chap, wasn't he? How fantastic to have had such a fantastic dog share your life for 12 years.

We were lucky enough to see the big lad do this. Jazz and Candy will be missed by many. Lasting memories.....wonderful. :love4

Loved to have heard his tail about the one that got away. :thumbleft Jazz was the best fisherman/dog. Ive ever seen, Hope there's a big river for him in rainbow bridge, I'm sure that's where he will be. :love2

a great photo. what actually happened to this fish? did it become dinner for jazz or did it get away. me and steve looking at photo and got very very curious.

Jazz caught many fish during his life ,sometimes he could pull out half a dozen on his morning walk.
He did not kill them , they would be returned un harmed to the water. On many an occasions he could catch more than the fishermen, and they would take the larger ones.
The fishermen all new him and used him as a barometer for their chances.
He was self taught not trained to do this. He liked fish to eat but much would depend on the quality of the sauce that went with the fish!!!
