Retriever Rescue

Yesterday I went to Bury Market with a friend.
In one corner where there were some steps, there was a crowd of people. We thought there had been an accident - but no - it was a Golden Retriever (a real hunk he was, too!) lying on his back, being tickled and stroked by numerous people, whilst his owner was browsing at the adjacent stall!!! Why was I surprised?!!!
Made my day!

Certainly are crowd pullers.
We went into town this morning, called at the charity shop for a new "dolly" for Willow, she had well and truly shredded the last one. I got her a lovely WHITE lamb. Oh, proud as punch, carried him all the way round town and back to the car. All the cars that passed by, the occupants were laughing and smiling, the walkers were stopping to watch her. We were tickled pink. Willow is now in bed cuddled up with teddy and dolly.

No not at all surprised. ours usually cause a stir wherever we may be...and they all love the fuss dont they...?
