Hello Linda,
Honey is lovely. She has the usual Golden kindly, intelligent face. I never case to marvel at their expressions. They are really the loveliest breed - their nature shows in their faces.
Hope you have many happy years together.
Best wishes - Samsmum.

Just an after thought Linda, it is so lovely to see Honey, how she's blossomed in your care. Well Done to all that were involved with your little girl, you must be so proud of her.
My best wishes to you and hubby.

hello linda. what lovely photo's of honey. i especially like the one where she has her tail in the air and her head down. i think they look comical when they go "hunting". did she find anything? i love the peak district too and she really looks like she enjoyed her walk there. wonderful!!!

Thanks everyone for your lovely messages about Honey.
She has come on 'leaps and bounds' over the last year. A lot of the credit goes to her for overcoming her past experiences but also to Jan and the girls at the kennels for settling her down when she arrived at the rescue. Since then we have just taken everything at her pace and given lots of encouragement. Thankfully she now has a lot more confidence, although still comes to us for reassurance which I think she will always do.
She has put on weight, but not too much, and her coat has come in beautifully. As I have said before, she is a little treasure and we are so proud of her.
P.s. She didn't find anything on her walk but had great fun doing lots of sniffing. It's so dog friendly in the peak district and Honey loved the walks so we have booked again for July.
