Ellie spends all of the time on Granny's knee when she visits.
I love and adore Monty more each day.He is becoming such a
sweet loving little man.
I fell over the other day-again!He covered my face in kisses
Love to you

What a handsome lad Monty has become, although he was a beauty to begin with.
Lovely photos again, Ellie is just the grand old dame.

Know where you're at with the love thing. Sometimes you just cuddle and snuggle up for the sake of it. What a joy these dogs are, your heart just bursts with love for them.

:n4:
from us and them. xx

Hope you're O.K. with the falling over. Put it down to age !!!!! I've got the same problem. :2029:
These days, it isn't from a bottle either.

Thanks Lynn i do seem to fall over more as i get older.Becoming a bit too regular though.
I know what you mean about your heart bursting with love.We are so lucky aren't we.
I snuggle up with Monty all the time he just loves it.Ellie loves a cuddle but as she has got
older she has to be in the mood. She likes her own space.Except when Granny's here of course.
Hugs to you all
:love4

Diane, what a lovely photograph of Monty by the tree, I hope that you will use it for your cards. Know what you mean about cuddling and snuggling !!!! but it's Cobi draped all across Les whilst he sits in the armchair !!! Your Ellie has the same contented expression as Ginnie. :1945:

What lovely pictures - thank you so much for sharing them with us. Ellie and Monte are lovely and so photogenic. Sam likes a cuddle, but he likes me to get on the floor with him, and then he tries to smother me - with kisses and a swishy tail. Then he rolls on his back and lies there with his legs in the air. Mad cramble then to get to my feet before he rolls on me whilst he is getting up. I've nearly been squashed a couple of times.
Squashing me is no great feat though, because I am only 4ft.10in. and 7 stone!!
Thanks again for the pics, and all good wishes to you all.

P.S. When the children were young, they used to call me Mini-Mum!!!

You have two beautiful Goldens there Diane. Ellie serene in her later years and Monty, the handsome one. I'm sure he keeps her young at heart. :bighug:

Thanks everyone!Monty does keep Ellie young at heart. The postman always gives them biscuits you should see her-its embarrassing-she keeps prodding him with her paw so he doesn't forget! And drooling on his shoes! :2362: Bless her she loves her food her eyes go into a trance whenever its on offer.
Monty would be an ideal dog for you Joyce he is tiny for a golden. What a way to go squashed under a retriever!
I think its a retrievers job to drape, Lynda.Monty is getting very good at it-would make a great accessory!
