Poppy is lovely. She loves cuddles, she lies on her back legs in the air for a tummy rub. She has been well trained -never goes on sofas, or up the stairs or begs for food. Jasper was allowed upstairs and on sofas, but when he could no longer manage it, it was so sad, so we won't start the habit. We bought her an 'orthapedic bed' like Jas had and she loves it. She steals when she has the chance and has selective deafness, but she is a goldie after all. She has lost half a kilo in 3 weeks, so going in the right direction. She does a little run on her walk now.
We bought Pero from the web site, and I emailed to say where we got our sample from, because I know they provide sponsorship. We realise that she prefers her food soaked before she eats it. I think she didn't have dry food in her first home. I add some boiled rice and sardine or chicken and she is in heaven.
She enjoys outings for lots of nice walks. If we stop off in a dog friendly pub on the way home she is no problem. When we go in other peoples houses she gets a bit 'panty'. Maybe she is stressed that she will be left.
After all that praise she is lying on my feet and has just made the most awful smell :2005:

I think it worked. This is poppy after a good roll in the garden, looking like we have given her a black eye. The previous one is in Styal Mil yesterday.
