Isn't Molly gorgeous? We had oodles of snow at Hornsea on Saturday night, too. Raffles would have loved it. He used to stop every 10 minutes or so and hold up his paws, horse-at-the-blacksmith-style, so I could take the snow pebbles from his feathering. Mind you, he used to wait until he was hobbling before giving in.

I have a wonderful photo of my first golden, Oscar on Worcester racecourse in the snow in 1980. He is running towards the camera, mouth open, grinning with paws, tail and feathering flying. I call it "Oscar -horror-dog".

Thank you for posting the pics. I am so envious of your garden views. We can see the sea from our back attic window if we twist at an angle of 45 degrees and give ourselves a hernia. We are hoping to move to another house in Hornsea, subject to our prospective buyer getting his finance. The new house is Edwardian, about 40 years older than our current one and only has 3 floors, not 4, but it does have a sea view.

Hopefully by the time we move, we will feel able to come and see Jan and get our own rescue golden.

Happy Christmas to everyone on the Forum. Avril :s28:

Hello Avril, did your photographs of 'Oscar horror dog' look anything like our Cobi in one of her ungainly moments?

I always put the more attractive photographs on the website of our two, we've already done the 'muddy grubby' ones perhaps the 'hounds from hell poses now? with a before and after photograph..

Oh wow! I love the new horror hound pictures. I am contriving to obtain one for the competition!

Maybe we could submit our impression of Rumpel-nose-skin!

Excellent!

Hello Everybody!
What lovely pictures from MollysMaid. Thank you for those - you are so lucky to live somewhere with views like that. I have happy memories of Scarborough, and your pictures brought them all back.
The dogs all look wonderful in the Winter Wonderland. Sam enjoys the odd foray into the snow, but he isn't a great lover of the snow. I think it gets in his way! He's happier in the kitchen - with all its smells. Have you tried the recipes yet?
Do hope you all have a Wonderful Christmas, and all the Very Best for the New Year. Big hugs to all the lovely Goldens, and a special thank you to Jan for all her dedication and hard work for them.
Samsmum.
