Not a chair but they have their own bedroom with kingsize bed, duvet, pillows etc
Doesn't stop them trying to get into our bed though!
(I'd love to see a pic of a goldie in a chair!! )

Lovely photo of Amber in her bed, wish my Ginnie had teeth like that Susan. Gin's are bent and battered, no bad ones thankfully, or it would a trip to the vet.... which is probably cheaper than a human's dentist, if you can find one... but we don't want to go there...

In response to having three dogs, In the past I've had 5 girls staying with us for over two weeks, when our friends go abroad, last time with 5 was 2004, as we now both have two dogs, it is only 4, (we only had three because Jasmine came to live with us for the last few years of her life, after my sister's marriage broke up) we found that Jasmine was sometimes sidelined whilst Ginnie and Abby played, Jasmine didn't know how to play with another dog as she had always been on her own.
Lottie has never really played with another dog,but brings you her toys. Megan and Cobi 'batter' each other and sometimes Ginnie joins in with them. So I guess it depends on the dog's personality.

As I was looking at all these lovely pictures Lynda I was wondering where I put that one of Bonnie in her chair and there it is. That is her chair and if anyone sits in it she will sit in front of them gazing into their eyes. Many people have said she must like me she is staring at me Not likely she just wants you to move. Trudi years ago was just the same.

I would just like to say some of the dogs my have not had a nice life before rescue,but looking
at these lovely photo's and comments we are all making up for what they may have missed.Our jasper also likes to tumble down the stairs with is bed it must be in the golden gene
also cuddles on the sofa to watch the soaps. (none dog lovers must think we are crackers more fool them i say)

Thank you Cobi & Ginnies mum - great picture - I just couldn't vision them on a chair but they can get comfy anywhere! Mine are ususlly on the sofa and stretch full length!

Not quite sure who to lay the blame on Acted on my own advice this morning and went thru' to Wharfedale Farmers. 2 new beds, Wellbeloved food, new slicker brush, and countless treats later, oh, and cat litter. Came away having had a lovely time browsing, but card somewhat lighter. Await news of what Ellas mum gets.

Also, put a card in for rescue Jan.

Our two have folded duvets with a washable cloth cover on , however they seem to prefer wool rugs to lie on.
The living room carpet was showing its age so we bought a thick pile wool rug ( Retriever coloured ). Jazz took this over immediately. Candy managed to fit on the edge. So we got another one. Both now seem to prefer the rugs for a zizz or a serious zonk out.

Thanks for all your replies to my 'bed post' I have love seeing all the piccies! There are certainly some lucky 'cutchy' goldies on here!! I also went to Wharfdale Farmers today (Lynn I cant believe we havent bumped into each other at Kildwick or in Skipton yet!) The choice was huge, from vet bed to genuine leather but all I came away with was a bag of hyde chews and im sorry to admit that I got sucked in by those organic crocodile chews -Very cute but it lasted 50 seconds! my quest for Wicks new bed continues!
I have to say that the navy number with the gingham check looks very posh! - Wick had a 'Phil' called 'Fez' unfortunately he had open heart surgery in the living room so went in the wheelie bin. The longest lasting toy by far is a giant octopus from Ikea.... its never far away

We bought Ginnie and Cobi a pheasant each, like Amber's they were half price and one has survived but no longer has the grey legs or wings, every so often I sit for an hour or more mending their toys with strong thread, but only if there is less than 5 large rips in it, otherwise it's binned. (Mum gets their fluffy toys from charity shops or car boot sales when she's caravanning) I bought a dozen of those crocodile and hedgehog chews from the friend who has a pet supplies business, I couldn't believe how dear they were when we visited a large pet shop, as they last all of 15 seconds with my two.

On the subject of toys. Willow likes a pair of Davids old socks(washed of course!) All the toy box things are just taken out and spread around. But, her socks are definate favourites. Doesn't matter how much you spend, they go back to the freebies.

Oh, the new beds....Spent the first few hours totally avoiding them. Timber is so funny. He doesn't do change. Stood on the door mat, looking at the beds and then me. DON'T LIKE mum. Anyway, peace restored at last, they look so comfy on them, although Willow likes the Bosses corner best!!!

Thanks for putting one of my cards in the shop Lynn If anyone else can do this in their shops or Vets it would be appreciated just let me know and I will send out some to you Every little helps as they say.

ps. She had an 'unscheduled' check last night as we thought the ear drops had affected her hearing (which they haven't) and got the added good news that the vet thinks the lump has gone down a little in the last week. Still on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories for another week but fingers crossed it continues to go down and she won't need surgery. Will let you know how she gets on.

Honey will miss her corned beef once the tablets stop!
