There's No Place like Home!!

There's No Place like Home.
Hello there friends!
Yesterday, David, our son John and his partner Linda, and I went to Liverpool to go on a Ferry Cruise to see the Queen Mary 2, Firework display and departure, which was great.
Sam went to his holiday home next door, to stay overnight with Harold. We arrived back home at 1-15 a.m., said good night to John and Linda, and very quickly went to bed.
When we went to retrieve(!!) Sam from Harold's, Harold said that at 1-15 a.m. Sam came and nudged him, so he got up to see what was wrong. When he reached the kitchen, there was Sam with his toys in house mouth, waiting to come home. All packed up ready, you might say!
He must have heard us and thought he was coming home then. Good job Harold has a sense of humour!!
Best wishes to you all and to your beloved Goldens.
Samsmum.

A lovely story. As much as he loves Harold, he loves his mum and dad more. :love4

I haven't commented on this story as I was emailed first but I didn't want you all to think I wasn't interested. I have to admit when I read it I had to get the tissues out I can just imagine him behind the door ears cocked waiting with his toys for them to come for him. :2371:
