Cobi made the mistake of taking Ginnie's 'polar bear' and then shaking it in front of Ginnie.
Not bad for a dog who is possibly 10 or 11 years old..... Ginnie is still the 'boss' and Cobi the 'young pretender'.
You don't take my 'polar bear' off me....

Isn`t dog diplomacy facinating!
In a "Let`s have fun" mood, Benjie is dominant and will ignore Simon`s requests for more sleeping time, but in important matters of seniority, like over the styles, through the gate and eat the food, Ben goes into a definite "After you mode"

I love the colour of your dark retriever. But they're both gorgeous - looks a familiar site though, my two are like that for at least an hour a day and that's without a polar bear to fight over!
We've been looking for months for a dark Gold retreiver but they seem so hard to find.
We have a cream and a traditional gold but would love a dark one too but everyone seems to be breeding the cream ones now!

We collected Cobi from Jan in 2005 a week after we had lost Abigail, she was only 12 months old and looked like a little ginger teddy bear, never had one as dark as Cobi, Jasmine (who died 11 weeks before Abby) was a lovely golden colour, Cobi has gone much darker since we had her. my two play from morning till night, except when they are 'wopped out'. They usually show off when the phone rings, and 'batter each other' growling and grizzling, Cobi gives Ginnie a sneaky nip on the back leg or neck, and then Gin sorts her out. The photo of your Holly is a paler version of our Ginnie, she has the same expression.

That's so funny - exactly the same with my two - Bramble is a little wind up merchant. Holly will sit minding her own business but Bramble runs up behind her and bites her bum or back of her head and then makes a run for it before getting the repecussions - until Holly catches her that is!
