Today is Woodys 7 year home day.
A day to reflect and say thanks to Jan.
Still a lively lad but he's aged this winter, stiffer and deaf now, but still the grand lad we brought home.
Photo taken at lunchtime walk today.
One here from Sandringham a couple of weeks ago. One for Jan, just look at Willows face.
Can't believe it's been seven years since he came to stay with you and Willow.
Willow is so much like my friends 10 year old golden Megan, she does a similar look and purses her lips, stretches her neck, with a bow, wow, wow, wow, wow almost like a howl.
Happy home day Woody! He looks wonderful Lynn....as does Willow. Old age and the ailments that go with it, seem come on all at once. Ella has been going deaf for a couple of years now and she can be very slow......her daily walks take a lot longer, but she's a wise old lady and seems to know her own strength's and weaknesses. Sometimes she surprises us and races around like a 2yr old .
Happy forever home day woody you look fantastic, hope you had a great day. Our Emily is thirteen now and slowing down a lot she sometimes picks her days out especially if the weather is not very nice and is a bit wobbly on her legs at times but other times she thinks she's a two year old . She's still a happy little girl and loved so much. Thank you Jan for letting us share her life with us.
What superb pictures of Woody and Willow, they look like bosom pals!! Happy forever home day, albeit a bit late, Woody and long may it continue xxxxx Lesleyxxxxx
