This is Monty. He came to us in September after being kept in a porch by an old lady who had alzeimers. Very worried. Not any more Look at his bright happy eyes. He is 2 years old.

oh monty. an honorary golden if ever there was one. we had one exactly the same as you, even down to the red collar. at least you have forever home now with many years to enjoy it. and looking at you it's already started xx
Some more news of Monty. He's really settled in now, and although he's STILL rather boisterous (we forgive him - he's only two!) he's very good in the house, and is really affectionate. He's full of character too - we've allowed him his special chair (because he kept sitting in it and seemed to get so much emotional comfort from doing so that we relented and let it become a permanent thing!) and he often sits in there almost vertically, with his legs outstretched on the arm. He looks so aloof and aristocratic doing this that I'd swear he only needs a smoking jacket and pipe to complete the picture! He's hysterical ...
Thanks for the update on Monty, what a handsome lad in the lovely home he deserves.
Merry Christmas Monty and family, and I'm sure a Very Happy New Year for you all.
